It's possible to have a folder (Album) with other folders (Albums). If You target to the parent folder You will have something similar to the Categories system.
Only thing is tricky - if You have a child folder without images, it wont be shown. For example, You got folder Parent, which contains folders Child1, Child2 and Child3. Folders Child1 and Child2 has images, but Child3 hasn't. If You show in Article folder Parent, it will be shown without Child3.

Perfect! I tried it, but I wronged the tag
now it work. the only problem is that appear the follow message:
"Warning: filemtime() [function.filemtime]: stat failed for /home/mhd-01/www.decorani.it/htdocs/images/stories/Decorani/Cliente 29.jpg in /home/mhd-01/www.decorani.it/htdocs/plugins/content/ ... Helper.php on line 264"
15 time, but I bealive (and hope) that this is easy to solve (is only a warning).
thank a lot!!
Giuseppe.

Ok, I solved the problem of warning by "Ignore notice of recoverable errors" voice.
there are only some little problem:
this is the web page:
http://www.decorani.it/index.php?option ... &Itemid=18
1) I would like to remove the "Albums" word and the little square;
2) for the thumbnail of album, i have insert the picture in the folder, but when I go in the "privati" category, there is also the picture of thumbnail. is there any solution for menage the thumbnail?
3) If I come back by clicking on the path above the thumbnail, when I arrive in the root folder appear a point. If I click on the point the component show me image should not.
I hope you help me.
thanks in advance,
Regards.

1)
Edit file
http://www.decorani.it/plugins/content/ ... /index.php
Remove line 57 ($html.= '<h1>'.JText::_( 'Albums' ).'</h1>'."\n";)
Edit file at line 966
http://www.decorani.it/templates/paint/css/template.css
Code: Select all
.article th, .article td {
border: 1px solid #978582;
padding: 2px;
text-align: left;
vertical-align: top;
}
and comment border
2)
Edit file
http://www.decorani.it/plugins/content/ ... /index.php
Remove lines 30-54 (section for showing thumbnails)
3)
Parent link acting strange... I'll have to think a little what did happened here.

thanks a lot. You are very very kind!
I'll try your solution as soon as possible.
for the point 3), I tried to set the folder path by adding a level and remove it from tags in the article:
./Decorani; {AG}Clienti{/AG} ---> ./Decorani/Clienti; {AG}{/AG}.
with this setting the component works better, but the sequence becomes '.' -> '/' -> '/privati' etc...

Hi Kekeljevic
sorry, Perhaps because of my bad English, I have not been understood about the point 2.
I made the changes you suggested, but this way I can not even see the thumbnails of the photos. I try to explain better (even with the help of google translator):
to associate a thumbnail album I put in the album itself, in addition to the subfolders, also the image thumbnail for the album itself.
I'd like that, when opened the album was not shown that image, but only the subfolders. Obviously in the subfolder of the lowest level must appear thumbnails.
Maybe I'm wrong way associate the thumbnails ?
Thanks and sorry to bother you a lot, but I find this very nice component, and would like to use it optimally.

Your Engrish is understandable, problem is in my solution... it was a stupid one this time... sorry.
I understand what You are trying but it requires support for Album details and custom thumbnail image selection. His is planned for some future release, but I can't promise when Vasiljevski and I would have a time to finish this. Probably it wont be done in April...
What a unexpected contrast... concrete pillar in such interior. Diffuse lightning and bright colors makes this interior looks like a piece of Haven and this pillar - it's such a one way ticket to the Geto. Like a electric heavy metal guitar in Church Choir. I'm loving it

Hi kekeljevic,
thanks a lot for yours advise, the module is ok. I'll wait for update but is very good also now.
congratulations for the metaphor makes the idea very well

!
can you help me with another one little question?
How I can center the gallery in the article? i have tried to modify the code:
.article th, .article td {
border: 1px solid #978582;
padding: 2px;
text-align: left; <-----
vertical-align: top;
and by center the tag "{AG}Clienti{/AG}" in the article but without result. If I align the text on the rigth it works but non in the center.
I have tried also with table.
is it my template's problem?

Try this template:
http://www.vasiljevski.com/forum/viewto ... f=19&t=275
You'll need to remove albums label from classic_center_3 after installation.
