Joomla 1.6.x and 1.7.x

When can we expect a Admiror Gallery version that's compatible with Joomla 1.6.x and 1.7.x ?

We had to earn for living, so our time is limited. We cannot support all the versions of Joomla, but probably we could make the next generation for some newer Joomla version. Vasiljevski and I had some conversation yesterday about this. Vasiljevski proposed to make AG4.x exclusively for Joomla 1.6 version.

Next version should have Albums and Paginations redone, we will try to make them work even when AG is embeded in module. Probably we will make Albums and Paginations as separate template styles... Maybe finally we could place thumbnails and descriptions in DB and resolve permission issues...

So, how do everybody feels about to have AG4.x exclusively for Joomla 1.6 version?

Sounds great.
Lot's of changes in the new version. But it would be great if the current version would run under joomla 1.6.x or 1.7.x as it is.

Well seeing as anyone still running on J1.5 would have a fully functioning version of AG, there would be no reason to complain about version AG4 being J1.6/J1.7 only. Personally I would love it as this is the one componant I lack in the build of my new Seaxe website and it is holding me back completing the build and making it public!!

OK, according to Your fast responds, we will start working on AG3 for Joomla 1.7 as soon as we found a free time for it. All new implementation we will left for some future releases...
