Image description

Hi, I have created my first gallery with 16 pictures and all works well,

Now what I wondered, is it possible to show a decription under each image on the content page and when an image pops up to show the description instead of the images name and file extn. xxx1234.jpg and image 1 of 16.

Iv'e tried looking around the user manual page but unforunately cannot find anything about what I wanted.

Okay I'm sorry, but I have read that thread twice, perhaps I am tottally stupid but I cannot get it.

I have a folder, it has 16 images they are named "101.jpg" up to "116.jpg", when I click on the button "Edit folder captions" I am presented with two editable areas the first is "Default / default" and below it "English (United Kingdom) / en-GB"

Now when my first image is opened on the webpage it displays below it:

101.jpg
image 1 of 16

I would like it to display:

The Willow Tree
painted: 1976

Perhaps this not possible, perhaps I am using the wrong syntax, but I cannot get it to work.

Folder captions are only for folder name in case you use more albums.

You should try to click on the image in ImageManager, this will open boxes for defining captions for you current installed languages.

This should solve your problem, I hope

Yes thanks , now I understand! It has allowed me to change / get a caption but I still have not got rid of the "image 1 of 16" caption at the bottom left side.

You can try to add:

#lbNumber{
display:none;
}

To the "plugins\content\AdmirorGallery\popups\slimbox\css\slimbox2.css", this will hide the "image 1 of 16" text.

Where I live it is midnight, what ever made me look in here I don't know, because I did not expect to get an answer before tomorrow morning.
