menu link vs. hyperlink to Gallery Layout - error

Hi,

Thanks for the gallery! So far it seems like a good product.

Gallery works fine form a menu selection but not when I use a hyperlink. Selecting the gallery from one of my menu options works perfectly. Using the link that is shown under Menu item details (index.php?option=com_admirorgallery&view=layout) and using it to create a hyperlink in some content on my site does not work. Clicking on the hyperlink creates the error, "Cannot create thumbnails, width and height must be greater than 0".

To see the problem firsthand go to my site, holasenorjuan.com. Click on the Flashcards menu at the top of the home page. The gallery will appear as expected. Then look for the hyperlink "flashcards" in the first paragraph of content on the home page. Click this to see the error.

As I can see the link in the menu and a link in the text are not the same

Menu link is : http://holasenorjuan.com/flashcards/?view=layout
Link in the text : http://holasenorjuan.com/component/admi ... iew=layout

So basically this is the problem. Try to change the link in the text to : http://holasenorjuan.com/flashcards/?view=layout

That should do the trick, I hope.

Thanks for the quick response. You were right of course. However, I am curious about why the link that appears in the link field when assigning a Admiror Layout to a menu item does not work in a hyperlink. All of the other hyperlinks I am using in my content are simply copied from the link field associated with a particular menu item (on my site the menu items typically link to different joomla components) and these other copied links work just as if you had selected the corresponding menu item. Does that make sense?

Well maybe we forgot some setting that utilize SEO options, will check this.

My initial suspicion was that perhaps you were not handling SEO friendly URLs correctly (this is enabled in my site). Thanks for looking into this.
