Newbie question
Re: Newbie questionExcellent! We are moving forward!!! Now I can select my gallery...Everything looks fine...However, I am still getting the following message here below when I cut and past the link in my browser. What do you think?
Warning: include(/homez.337/xxx/www/xxx/plugins/content/AdmirorGallery/templates/" thumbWidth=/index.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /xxx/xxx/www/xxx/plugins/content/AdmirorGallery.php on line 76 Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/xxx/xxx/www/xxx/plugins/content/AdmirorGallery/templates/" thumbWidth=/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /xxx/xxx/www/xxx/plugins/content/AdmirorGallery.php on line 76 Cannot create thumbnails! Re: Newbie questionTry to, first, remove the menu link with the gallery and add a new one with the same settings, maybe something had been saved wrong.

give us a review on JED Re: Newbie questionI just did. Still the same problem. The same error message: No such file or directory in /xxx/xxx/www/classic/plugins/content/AdmirorGallery.php on line 76
I do not know what's wrong. I search the forum and noticed someone had the same problem and the problem came from the link. Any other idea? Re: Newbie questionHere is the post where I saw a similar problem : http://www.vasiljevski.com/forum/viewto ... f=22&t=550
Let me know what you think DD
Re: Newbie questionThe link to the gallery should look like: /index.php?option=com_admirorgallery&view=layout&Itemid=53 (ID of the menu item)
So when using it you should always add Itemid=xx at the end. This tells the layout what to look for in database (parameters) If you turn on SEO for your site, depending on your configuration, the link to the gallery can be /[menu link alias] or index.php/[menu link alias] So if you use only : /index.php?option=com_admirorgallery&view=layout this is the problem. When I tried this in my localhost I got the same error. I don't get this part:
Why do you do that? If you added a menu item, you just need to click on the menu item, and gallery will display. The Link is there to display the general link to the component view. If you want to do it this way, but I don't see why, you should copy Link and add &Itemid=ID (it is a value above Name). I have to admit I'm a little confused about what are you trying to do, and the way you try to do it Help Admiror Gallery become even better,
