popup not opening with GalleryView3.0 template

Admiror Gallery is free extension for Joomla! based websites. Admiror Gallery is all in one, a simple and instant solution for rendering image gallery from folder with images, but very flexible and adaptable.

popup not opening with GalleryView3.0 template

#1 Post by cuadradoredondo »

Hi,

the Admiror Gallery component with GalleryView3.0 template is working great except for two gliches:

1) I don't get the popup engine to work even though it's enabled in "Basic settings" and in the tag itself {AG popup="fancybox"}food{/AG} If you wish you can have a have a look here: http://affirmabusinesscenters.es/versio ... castellana

2) Is there a way to disable captions and hide the filename, captions AND the transparent grey bar. Putting blank spaces into the caption of the image gets rid of the filename but the empty grey bar still stays there. How can I hide it?

Many thanks for any suggestions.

Well, galleryView has no implementation of popup include, meaning that it was never intended to open a popup on click :)

And for the gray bar, open : "[JoomlaRoot]\plugins\content\AdmirorGallery\templates\galleryView3.0\index.php"
Change the line : 24

Code: Select all

pause_on_hover: true
to

Code: Select all

pause_on_hover: true,
	 overlay_opacity: 0

This should do the trick ;)

What a pitty! The GalleryView3.0 is ideal to show an animated image gallery with many thumbs in a perfectly defined space. Hence a popup would be extremly desiarable for showing, say, product image enlargements that would otherwise waste precious web real estate.

There isn't a trick like that with the gray bar to enable the popup engine, is there? This would really save my day. :D
