Pls I need a help, after I installed the admiror gallery 3.x and linked to a menu containing images of an event stored in a folder in media manager (the directory of the folder is images/stories/projects), viewing it on the website I got an error message (You are not authorised to view this resource). Even at the back-end, the images did not show from the thumb on admiror image manager. Pls can anyone help me out.

If you want to display pictures you need to add a Layout menu item type, but if you need Image Manager menu item type, you have to login from the front end and to have access rights for that page.

Other problem, the one with thumbnails not showing. That is a permmisins problem on your server, thumbnail images cannot be created on your server so there is no thumbs, but I guess that when you click on a image you get the big image popout.

Thanks very much
Thank once more, i have visited the link you provided above and i was able to long in from the front end no problem about that.
but not yet through, the challenge i'm having now is that on the web page if i click on the link to the image galery as a visitor the page YOU DONT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS RESOURCES will come up. this implies that the visitors to the site will not be able to view those pictures there.

Well you need to add Layout type to display the gallery to the user. Image manager type is only for registered user because you can delete, rename or add images using Image Manager layout.
Try adding Layout type menu item, and see it it suits your need.
