Admiror frames 2.0 doesn't display any frames

#1 Post by qazxsw »

Hi.

The problem comes out when i updated my joomla 1.7 to the later version (2.5) . Since I was on 1.7 all goes well, but after the update the plug-in doesn't show any frames. I can think that the plug-in works, but not properly, since the {AF} {/AF} code wasn't displayed when the plug-in is activated.

Sorry for my bad english ! Many thanks for the help !!!

Regards , Salvatore!

Did you try to reinstall Admiror Frames?

Can you post a link to your site so I could check out what is happening?

Yes! The pulgin was uninstalled and reinstalled twice , but nothing changed!

Here it is the link to the website : http://www.cartamonetaitaliana.com

In "ARTICOLI" and "LINK UTILI" sections shuld be displayed the frames, but nothing :cry:

This is some html code of the "LINK UTILI" section:

Code: Select all

<p>{AF width=49% height=150px }<a href="http://myworld.ebay.it/banconoteitaliane86/" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/CMI86.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="CMI86" /></a> &nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px} <a href="http://www.stefanopoddi.it/" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/SPoddi.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="SPoddi" /></a>&nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px} <a href="http://www.ilgiornaledellanumismatica.it/" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/GiornaleNumi.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="GiornaleNumi" /></a>&nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px}<a href="http://www.bancaditalia.it/servizi_pubbl/museo_banconota" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/BANCA-Italia.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="BANCA-Italia" /></a> &nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px}<a href="http://www.veronafil.it/" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/Veronafil.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="Veronafil" /></a> &nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px}<a href="http://www.ecb.int/euro/banknotes/html/index.it.html" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/BCE.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="BCE" /></a>&nbsp; &nbsp; {/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px}<a href="http://www.finanzafacile.tv/" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/finanzafacile.gif" alt="finanza facile" width="250" height="100" /></a>{/AF}</p>
<p>{AF width=49% height=150px} <a href="mailto:posta@cartamonetaitaliana.com" target="_blank"><img src="images/linkutili/inserire-link.gif" width="250" height="100" alt="inserire-link" /></a>&nbsp; {/AF}</p>

Thanks ! I appreciate the interest

Well I see what the problem is, but I don't know how this is happening.

Problem is that to create a frame we pass a parameter to a script that is responsible for creating the correct sized frame.

To do that we need to pass a path to the initial image, like this:

Code: Select all

background-image: url("http://localhost/Joomla15/plugins/content/admirorframes/scripts/AF_gd_stream.php?src_file=D%3A%5Cwamp%5Cwww%5CJoomla15%5Cplugins%5Ccontent%5Cadmirorframes%5Ctemplates%5Cround_bended_corner%5CTL.png&bgcolor=FFFFFF&colorize=disable&ratio=1");

But in your case it looks like:

Code: Select all

background-image:url(http://www.<strong class="keyword">carta<strong class="keyword">moneta</strong></strong>italiana.com/plugins/content/admirorframes/admirorframes/scripts/AF_gd_stream.php?src_file=%2Fweb%2Fhtdocs%2Fwww.<strong class="keyword">carta<strong class="keyword">moneta</strong></strong>italiana.com%2Fhome%2Fplugins%2Fcontent%2Fadmirorframes%2Fadmirorframes%2Ftemplates%2Fround%2FTL.png&bgcolor=FFFFFF&colorize=disable&ratio=0.5);
Notice, "http://www.<strong class="keyword">carta<strong class="keyword">moneta</strong></strong>italiana.com" this causes the problem. Because < breaks the CSS code.

Can you check why, when we ask for path we get this instead of "http://www.cartamonetaitaliana.com".
