Admiror Frames and Modal Class Links

Good Afternoon,

I setup Admiror Frames on my site today, which I absolutely love. It looks great. However, I have one question...

I use the "JCK Modal" plugin which is a simple lightbox for my links. This way, when I link an external page, it basically comes up in a little light-box iframe. This ensures that when someone clicks a link, they do not leave my site.

If I put that table of links into the {AF} {/AF} tags, my JCK Modal no longer functions. When you click a link, it takes you away from my page and directly to the external website, which I cant have.

I would LOVE to use your plugin because it looks fantastic, but I can't with this issue. Here is a typical link code that I use as an example with the "modal":

Code: Select all

<a class="modal" href="calculators/velocity.htm" title="" rel="{handler: 'iframe' , size: {x:915, y:600}}"> My Link</a>
Can you please let me know if there is a simple fix for this? I can code pretty well, so if you can give me some instructions with code to change, I can do it.

Well, probably, the code that initializes JCK Modal is executed, and after that plugin kicks in and changes the content.
After that JS is not executed on tampered code.

One idea is to identify what initializes the JCK Modal and add it before the end of the plugin code in admirorframes.php, for example after this line:

Code: Select all

$row->text .= '<br /><a href="http://www.admiror-design-studio.com/admiror/en/design-resources/joomla-admiror-frames" target="_blank">AdmirorFrames 1.7.x</a>, '.JText::_("author/s").' <a href="http://www.vasiljevski.com/" target="_blank">Vasiljevski</a> & <a href="http://www.admiror-design-studio.com" target="_blank">Kekeljevic</a>.<br /></div>';
add something like :

Code: Select all

$row->text .= [init code for JCK Modal]
Now, if this is not the case, it would help to know what is so I could propose a proper solution :)

If the extension is free, you can send me a copy to try and see what the problem is.

Thank you for the reply! "JCK Modal" is a free plugin. Here is the download link:

I would love to get the Modal code to work with your plugin, so if you can identify what code I need to change, I would be very grateful.

I found what the problem was, I will add a new release in a few days, maybe tomorrow :)

In the meantime you can replace :
"[joomla_root]/plugins/content/admirorframes/admirorframes.php" (Joomla 2.5)
"[joomla_root]/plugins/content/admirorframes.php" (Joomla 1.5)

With the one attached :
admirorframes.zip
(1.52 KiB) Downloaded 1726 times
And thank you for reporting this issue :) You helped all Admiror Joomla Extension become better :)
