Separate category albums possible?

[heuriser]

In Joomla 2.5 I am trying to create four different categories of albums, two in each of two submenu categories.

For example, male and female dancers, and male and female acrobats, with each of the four categories displaying a number of performer albums.

Right now, it seems that I can only use one root image folder location and every album folder in it will appear on every category's page.

Any solutions?

Thanks in advance.

The only way is to change you folder structure a bit.

Have something like:

Code: Select all

albums/dancers/male
albums/dancers/female
albums/acrobats/male
albums/acrobats/female

So you can use each root path for every category.

But you would need to have 4 menu items of Gallery Layout type.
