It is hard to give you and info without checking out your site. Could you post a link to your site so I could check what is the problem?
Most probably is some conflict with JavaScript.

You have more that one JavaScript problem on your site:
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
[Break On This Error]
var megamenu = new jaMegaMenuMoo ('ja-megamenu', {
fotoalbum (line 112)
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
[Break On This Error]
jQuery.noConflict();
fotoalbum (line 36)
TypeError: jaMegaMenuMoo is not a constructor
[Break On This Error]
var megamenu = new jaMegaMenuMoo ('ja-topmega', {
fotoalbum (line 92)
TypeError: jaMegaMenuMoo is not a constructor
[Break On This Error]
var megamenu = new jaMegaMenuMoo ('ja-megamenu', {
fotoalbum (line 112)
TypeError: SqueezeBox is undefined
[Break On This Error]
SqueezeBox.initialize({});
fotoalbum (line 28)
TypeError: Fx.Slide is not a constructor
[Break On This Error]
$('ja-cpanel-toggle').slider = new Fx.Slide('ja-cpanel-main', {duration: 400});
So I guess that slimbox is not working because of this. Can you try pirobox or fancybox?
