hi

i installed AG 5.x on a site on a local server. the images are uploaded in 3 subfolders with path /images/sampledata/
none of the image thumbnails are created or displayed.

There are several causes for something like this, very large images and small ram allocated to PHP on your PC, permissions (thumbs cannot be created).
Can you investigate PHP error log, or post it here? It should have some information on why thumbs were not created.
