Solution for Custom Images Root path problem with "/"

When users entry custom Custom Images Root Folder path is casual mistake to forget first or last "/". It would be wise to have some aid with this:

1. maybe some notice about it, or
2. maybe auto correction of path in valid form, even with check if Root Path really exists.

Me personally would like to free user from effort and vote for second solution.
