Problems with the intro modul

#1 Post by dusg »

hello,

I like that plugin but I have a litle problem with it.
I use joomla 1.5. For my startpage I use the "intro modul" to fix a welcome text on the startpage.
But in the intro modul your plugin doesn't work.
Is that a bug or do you have a solution?
The page ist

At the startup you can see the {AF} quote at the moment

And a second question. Is it posible to the set the "Weiterlesen" (means read more) link into the frame?
You can see it on the startpage also.

It look's like the plugin is not enabled.

I don't know, I never tried it in a module. It depends on the module, if it activates the plugin code or not. Some modules provide an option to select that module activates the joomla plugins. You should check that for your module.
Is the "intro module" free? Can you attache a copy of it here so I could check and see how it behaves?

As for the "Read more", you should check this thread : http://www.vasiljevski.com/forum/viewto ... f=24&t=546
Basically Joomla creates "Read more" link after the article content and so it cannot be inside unless you add a link to the full article manually. Or, as I suggested in the thread above, to use CSS to push it inside the frame :)

I cannot find it, here is the screen of available modules:

Can you please check this.

You could also go to [joomla root]/modules/mod_intro zip this folder and send it to me to check it. But I suspect that it doesn't trigger plugin code.
You can, also, check this if you try some other plugin to add to intro, you should get the similar problem as you got with Admiror Gallery.
