Problem with pagination and 'Album'

#1 Post by Frankster69 »

Hello,

Thanks for this plugin! I've tried similar others (Sigplus, Vsig, CSS Gallery), but they all failed when using many of them at once. This is the first one that works everywhere and in Internet Explorer too! It's a life saver for this site I'm working on, involving many galleries in many tab/slider combinations.

I'm using Admiror plugin 2.1.156 now. Two, ok three things now remain te be solved:
- when using pagination, all numbers and the next-button lead only to the homepage (www. site. nl). Not to the next set of pictures in the same folder.
- In the lightbox, I can click through to the images in next folder, and in the next folder of images, etc.. I'ld like it to only click through the content of only the folder within the {AG} tags.

Third then: I selected not to use albums, but the word 'Album' remains visible underneath when there are subfolders in the folder used. Since I selected not to use albums, it should not be there. (the subfolders were leftovers from other galleries I tried, thumbs andso... I removed them, and the word 'album' does not show anymore. Still, when I select not to use albums, the word 'album' should not appear i.m.o.)

I've disabled pagination for now. The site is at: http://www.auraboutique.nl

(in Joomla, under plugins it says I'm using engine version 2.1.156, under components it says I'm using component version 3.0.164 and plugin version 3.0.0, so I'm not sure which version of the plugin was installed. Downloaded the package here today)

I can't help with the problem, but I can say that you are actually using version 3. There were two versions of 3.0.164, the first one had the wrong version info in so was corrected for the second .164.

Expect this thread to be moved at some point :) hehe

Have you tried uninstalling AG (and making sure the plugin from version 2 is not still installed) and then reinstalling v3 again (I'd re-download .164 to ensure you have the absolute latest version)??

Also a screengrab always helps the developer if you can.

Ok, I'll try that tomorrow. Now It's almost bedtime in my timezone (Amsterdam).

to be sure: I downloaded and installed Admiror yesterday, from the official site. No Admiror plugin was in my system before, so it can't be an 'old' plugin not being updated.

Nevertheless, I'll give it a shot. Some of the galleries contain too many images for one display, so pagination is a necessity.

Will be back with more info tomorrow, thanx sofar!

We will not move Your thread but I must say I'm impressed with Your sharp observation about two .164 . Only change we had between older and newer AG 3.0.164 is a Version Info. This project is based on goodwill, it's hard to find a time for it and sometimes we goes for easer solutions :-) . We appreciate all You Contribution on AG Community. Thanks.

You should try the new version 3.0.166, or you can wait a little more, for me to create an update script so that you don't need to reinstall the whole component :)
