Gallery View Template 3.x Issue

#1 Post by caseyz »

I actually just stumbled across this extension recently and I've got to say it looks GREAT out of the box.

I have one question though,
Is there any way to prevent the selected image from being stretched in the Gallery View Template? The thumbnails crop the images appropriately, but the selected Frame image is stretched to fit the "Gallery Frame Size" . Was hoping there would be a solution that would retain the greatest dimension and implement the background color to fill frame.

I saw the link on the original post http://www.vasiljevski.com/forum/viewto ... f=19&t=258. But the link seems to be broken.

Any ideas would be a great help.

-Thanks

Well as I can see the author of GalleryView have some problems with it's web site :(

But that is the correct link, just no something wrong with the site.

Maybe that can be done, but would require extensive changes in the galleryView JS library.

Best solution is to find existing JS library that has all that you need (ok almost all :) and try to create a tamplate for the admiror gallery, in fact thats how galleryView was created :)

Thanks for the quick reply. I kinda figured as much. I'll take a lok through the API and see if I don't get too intimidated.

Just a quick note if anyone else was looking for something similar. With a couple css attributes it seems to solve the issue (at least for a landscape proportioned Big Frame)

Code: Select all

.panel-content {
	text-align:center;
}

.panel-content img[style] {
	width:auto!important;
}
