remove page numbering from the top of article

#1 Post by naturalp »

Hi - I have used Admiror frames for ages but have now upgraded to 2.5 joomla and the format seems to have changed - now a list of pages is showing at the top of each page - like this
1
2
3
4
5
6 and each one is a link to that page... I would prefer this at the bottom - any ideas how to do it? Here is an example page showing the problem..

Doesn't appear to be anything to do with AdmirorFrames.

Your Main content is held within an area called CLEARPAD.

Inside that is: <div id="article-index"><ul>
<li>
<a href="/index.php/mavericks-story-147?showall=&limitstart=" class="toclink active">Mavericks Story</a>
</li>
<li>
<a href="/index.php/mavericks-story-147?showall=&start=1" class="toclink">Page 2</a>
</li>
<li>
<a href="/index.php/mavericks-story-147?showall=&start=2" class="toclink">Page 3</a>
</li>
<li>
<a href="/index.php/mavericks-story-147?showall=&start=3" class="toclink">Page 4</a>
</li>
<li>
<a href="/index.php/mavericks-story-147?showall=1&limitstart=" class="toclink"> All Pages</a>
</li>
</ul></div>

And that has introduced a List with the 4 links plus one DIV from within Article Index.

And that's all before AF is called.

I would look to your general preferences and look for something that turns on and off a "general index" function and see if it also says where you can place this function.

No it seems to be a joomla 2.5 thing - any template I use puts the page numbers in this position so its possbly a joomla 2.5 content thing... oh dear..

You may just need to change the module position. Ie, from "Main Body" to "Main Bottom" to solve this. Without knowing your template it's hard to say for sure.

I can only confirm that it is not Admiror Frames cause of the problem, because CSS added by Admiror Frames is self contained, styles are added inline so no other element is affected by it :)
