BETA release of fifth generation of Admiror Gallery, release 5.0.0.

It's all in one installer with all tools and extensions installed at ones and ready for use.

Some of major changes in fifth generation of Admiror Gallery are:

* Album Support improved
* Security fixes
* Optimized and removed some obsolete code

Just to be clear, this is NOT backwards compatible with Joomla 2.5, right?

(I tried it on 2.5 and it just makes a blank page so have reinstalled 4.5)

No, it is not

There are too many differences, at least in component part, to make unified version for 2.5 and 3.x.

But if you need updated 4.5 version, when I say updated I mean with some bugs fixed, I can merge fixes (most importantly security fixes) and send you.

To be honest I'm surprised you have been able to install it on 2.5

Well I already have one fixed version, but I think the entire community would appreciate a fixed version getting put up in the 4x area.

I would also drop support for earlier versions personally, I think they take too much time up and a lot of the posts are spam/bots anyway. And that leaves you with just 4x and 5x to worry about then (plus AF and AC)

Good idea. For now, I will leave 3.x forum, because there are a lot of extra templates and popups available, and disable others.
